by Grangegeeth.
The Dublin City Talent competition has been moved to either the 29th or 30th June,
which will be confirmed shortly. The format for the Gaelic Football and Hurling

taking place on either the 17th or 18th August - this date will be confirmed shortly.
The County AGM will happen on Monday 27th August.

last Saturday. County Chairman Ciaran Ryan of Ardcath broke hearts on Saturday
when he married fianceé Ena Finger - everyone in the County would like to wish them
all the best for the future. Wedding bells were ringing in Dunshaughlin too with the wedding of past County Chair
Marion Naughton when she married her 'man from Down Under' David two weeks ago. Also taking the trip down the aisle was Marion's cousin and past Chair of Dunshaughlin
Macra, Morty O'Sullivan who recently married Lorraine Mallon.
Best wishes are extended to all. Grangegeeth must be getting the wedding bug as they are organising a Mock Wedding
fundraiser in aid of the Irish Cancer Society in September.
They had a very successful Beach Party last week and want to thank everyone who helped
out, especially members of Enfield Macra who came over on the night.
Things in Dunshaughlin are starting up again. The club is in the process of rescheduling
their Table Quiz which was originally set for April and the four Reid sisters ran in the
Ladies Mini Marathon over the June Bank Holiday Weekend. Longwood will be saying
a temporary farewell to PRO Lorraine McGarry who is going to America for three months
- lets hope she doesn't depart before the Queen of the Land competition! Scurlogstown
members recently took to the bowling alleys and followed it up with a pub crawl around Navan.
